Like Mother Like Daughter?

Who taught this girl how to cook?

Oh, wait, yes, I did.
And yes, she has learned well.
From me.
Did I just admit that?

As long as she remembers to take these chocolate brownies out of the oven on time, I can guarantee you they will be yummy!

The more love (aka mess) that goes into a project, the better it is!
Simply speaking from experience.

Gabrielle, concerning the shirt, and stated with a grin,
 "Well, it's gonna have to be washed anyway."

I may have said that before;
But that was years ago!
Or maybe 1 year ago;
Way back around Christmas time in 2009.

Mmmm, the aroma from the kitchen smells delicious!

Happy 2010!

A favorite Past time...

I guess it's time to give the van a bath!
But I don't want to erase the message...

If you look closely, you may notice Clean Me crossed out!
I guess they changed their minds...

However, this one in the rearview mirror is not so enticing.

So Gabrielle and Michael washed this van clean!

Though we may at times look good on the outside, God looks at us inside out and sees how we truly are. Then with our contrition, He cleanses us with His mercy in the sacrament of reconciliation. Even when we don't want to be cleaned, because we think we like the message on the outside, it is always better that we make the effort, so we can truly reflect His glory!

Thanks be to God!

Wordless Wednesday

I am Soooo ready for these types of days!

"Hope begins in the dark, the stubborn hope that if you just show up and try to do the right thing, the dawn will come. You wait and watch and work: You don't give up."
